A Complete and Unique Football Experience
Since its inception in 1946, the Sydney University Soccer Football Club (SUSFC) has carefully laid the foundations for a program that has the potential to become a giant in the Australian footballing landscape. SUSFC’s links with the University of Sydney and Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness allows the club to offer an unparalleled combination of world-class elite athlete development and educational opportunities.
With 500+ club members, 50000+ university members and over 200,000 University Alumni, SUSFC has a ready-made supporter base to engage and excite with increasingly competitive and attractive football. SUSFC’s recent appointment of a full-time Technical Director is testament to the clubs long-term ambition. Furthermore, a continuing and sustainable investment in off-field infrastructure, youth development and on-field performance will ensure SUSFC achieves what we at the club believe it can.
As a sponsor of SUSFC you would have the opportunity to contribute to, and in return profit from, the long term success and rapidly increasing profile of the club. We at SUSFC believe in building mutually beneficial relationships with our sponsors over a number of years and therefore make a commitment to spend every sponsorship dollar with one eye on the future.
This document outlines a number of ways in which you can leverage your investment in SUSFC. By no means is this list exhaustive or rigid and any suggestions you may have are most certainly welcome and we are more than happy to tailor a package to your needs
Jersey and apparel sponsorship
Depending on your level of sponsorship we can put your logo on our playing strips,
shorts, training gear and/or supporters wear.
Directs links from our website
The SUSFC website is the information centre for all current, past and future players and is therefore subject to high volumes of unique online traffic. We can either provide a link direct to you website or provide you with an entire page on our website to advertise your services.
Advertising in all mailouts, marketing campaigns and match day programs
SUSFC sends weekly e-Newsletters to all its members and Alumni in which links to your website can be incorporated. Throughout the year SUSFC will launch a number of marketing campaigns across the University and the inner west/eastern suburbs communities advertising high profile games, functions and football development camps. Your logo would be placed prominently in all campaign material. Furthermore your logo can be placed on match day programs handed out to all spectators at the weekly home games at either Hensley Athletic Field or University No. 1 Oval.
Naming Rights to: Camps, Trophies and Development Programs
We can use your company name to brand Holiday Camps, Development Programs and/or a significant club trophy. For example our Junior Academy could be branded the “[Insert your Name] Youth Development Academy” or the trophy for the highest goal scorer maybe labeled the “[Insert your Name] Golden Boot”.
Match Day Signage
For the entire 21 week season prominent signage would be displayed at every home games played at either Hensley Athletic Track or University Oval No. 1. This package includes the cost of two ~ 3x0.5 A-frame signs
Naming Rights to a player scholarship
A scholarship providing financial assistance to a player can be named after you or your business. Whenever the player is recognised in a press release the phrase “[Insert your Name] scholar” would appear alongside the player’s name.
Match Day Marketing
A booth will be provided at a home game of your choosing for you to market your business and services and directly access over 1000 spectators over a period of 12 hours from 9am – 9pm. All advertising for the round would recognise your business.
SUSFC Blue and Gold Dinner Sponsor
The Blue & Gold Dinner is SUSFC gala fundraising event. Each year the evening has featured eminent guests from the football world including Les Murray, Mark Bosnich, John Aloisi, Craig Foster, Branko Culina, Simon Hill. The evening includes a three course dinner, drinks and entertainment and represents a great chance to entertain current clients and meet new ones. Sponsorship of this event will get you labeling and recognition in all event promotional material and two seats to the dinner where you will rub shoulders with the invited guests for the evening.
SUSFC Season Launch Sponsor
The SUSFC Season Launch is held to recognise and announce our elite men’s, women’s and youth squads for the upcoming season. It is held within the hallowed halls of the universities main quad and is a great chance to meet the players, coaches and parents of our 12 elite men’s women’s and youth teams. Sponsorship of Season Launch will get your logo on all advertising for the event and you will also be presented with a SUSFC Elite Squad photo on the night.
